Ring Around the Roses
I was intrigued by how a song we considered innocent and never really thought too much of, had a dark history to it. The song “Ring around the roses” was created in the 14th century during the reign of the Black Death, the greatest catastrophe in history wiping out about 80 million people worldwide. I was inspired by how this song masked the darkness of that era.
