Studying at Raffles has granted me invaluable insights into how design works in the real world. It is not just about the drawings and the models, but more about the user. I learnt things like viable correspondence, and it has propelled in me the certainty that is important for one to succeed. What's more, particularly in Singapore, I have gained important skills like dealing with clients, and managing my time effectively, and that has granted me autonomy in my profession.

I have broken and reinvented myself in the process of learning, similar to how muscles are ripped and rebuilt stronger than before. Having been shaped in part by the collegial, creative, yet rigorous, environment at Raffles, I found myself able to communicate, innovate, and collaborate in ways that enabled me to build a successful persona of myself, and I hope to eventually find a rewarding career in an independent design consultancy.
