Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design
I started studying in Raffles College of Higher Education from October 2015 to June 2017. Although I studied only 1.5 years, it has been a great study experience, a happy time of gaining knowledge about graphic design, opening my mind about how graphic design works. I also got the chance to actually work with a graphic design company, during which I learned how to face a supervisor who had a different view from me.

I want to express my gratitude to the lecturers who have taught me, shared their experiences and their knowledge to the students. Thank you, Colm Dunne, Jana Dambekalne, Michael Loo, Terrence Chong, Patrick Theondel, Artem Diedkov, Queenie Chan, and Kris Ling. Because of them, I am overall a better graphic designer.

Besides that, I have also had a great experience at the chapel ministry, which could connect me with the Chaplain (Laurence Lim), other lecturers, and other Raffles staff. It was nice to join the Weekly Prayer, Bible Study, and Weekly Devotion. It could help me to grow in faith, join a positive community, and also help the Chaplain when necessary. I am so grateful and happy that I was chosen to be a leader in the Alpha Course, where I could share my thoughts and my faith experience to other people in a small group.

Overall, I enjoyed studying at Raffles College of Higher Education. Although it’s been a tough time because of the many assignments and strict lecturers, the unique process of learning has helped me explore my skill and grow in faith at the same time.
