SINGAPORE – Raffles Fashion Designer, SHEN Jialing attained 2nd Runner-up in the 4th edition of the Premio Giuliacarla Cecchi competition, held on 13th November, hosted by the Municipality of Florence, at the Palagio di Parte Guelfa, Sala Brunelleschi!

Under the tutelage of Raffles Singapore’s team of international Creative Practitioners, led by Principal, Mr. Giuseppe (Joe) SPINELLI, Jialing and her seven fellow designers, CUI Yinling, DE GUZMAN Ma Renee Angela Esquillo, FENG Linlin, HUANG Yasi, SHEN Wenxuan, TAN Pei Mun and Vella Febriani SUTANIO had the honour of representing Raffles Singapore to compete with other international finalists in the 4th edition of this competition.

This year’s theme revolved around research, processing, and transformation of noble, technological, or environment-friendly fabrics in a high fashion product, and how designers could have an innovative vision of fashion womenswear and therefore tailor the future clothes, fashion, and style for the contemporary woman.
