Raffles at Lighting Design Forum 2017

SINGAPORE – Raffles Interior Design students, led by the Creative Practitioners of the Interior Design Department, attended the Lighting Design Forum, at the National Museum of Singapore.

The aim of this forum is to inspire people to exchange ideas and experiences about their lighting projects and about the lighting field in general. The belief is that by sharing experiences and opinions about the multifaceted field of lighting, members of the public will indeed benefit by having the opportunity to learn and to develop their knowledge, in order to create a strong and enduring community.

The speakers at the event consisted of Lighting Designers, Mr. Francois ROUPINIAN, Ms. Mahdis ALIASGARI, Mr. Joran LINDER, Mr. Eric OLSSON, Mr. Marco PALANDELLA, Mr. Roberto CORRADINI, and moderator, Ms. Andrea NANETTI, Associate Professor and Associate Chair (Research), School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University. They touched on how this platform wishes to promote ideas and make them a reality, with the support of its members.

Our students were thus enlightened by what they learnt from the forum, which will equip them with the necessary knowledge to further enhance their professional excellence, and drive them to launch their own ideas in the future.
