Theatre of Dada
“I was interested in ideas – not merely in visual products.” －Marcel Duchamp My collection is based on the theatre of the absurd and Dadaism. The Dada artists of the early 20th century were famous for being anti-government, anti-art, or simply anti-everything, and that seemed “absurd”. I try to express this principle of Dadaism in my collection.
