Reshm
Reshm (pronounced as ‘Ray-shum’) means silk in Hindi. India is the second largest producer of silk in the world, and the label aims to upcycle the country’s indigenous silk waste to create an eclectic range of statement bags and accessories made by South-Indian artisans. Most people I have met do not know that ‘Fashion Marketing’ exists as a course of study. Three years ago, I was one of those people, who took a leap of faith, which I can safely say now, was a good move. Raffles College has developed the course in a way that has prepared me to approach any role in the industry with confidence and a varied set of skills.
