ACCULTURATION WAR
This collection was inspired by colonialism in Indonesia, and the struggle to fight for independence. It explores the roles of how women at that time joined the battlefield alongside men to not only fight for Indonesia's independence but also fight for their own rights. I was fascinated by the struggle of cultural transition where traditional Indonesian culture intertwined with the colonial culture to become the culture that I know and experience.
