Lies in Differences
“Each human being is unique, each with their own qualities, instincts, forms of pleasure, and desire for adventure.” –Paulo Coelho I was inspired by several art movements and artists, such as Suprematism, Frank Stella, and the Memphis Group. They all have their own unique characteristics in the use of different kinds of mixed media alongside the bold use of shapes and colours. This collection focuses on vibrant colours, textures, and clashing fabrics, with playful silhouettes, enhanced with embroidered lace, patches, beads, and ribbons to create diversity, showing that being different is not a bad thing after all.
