Raffles has provided me with an environment in which I experienced design and came to understand its industrial value. I had the opportunity to use several new machines and tools to enhance my products. I received guidance through my creative practitioners. They were very supportive and constructively criticised when necessary. They allowed us to explore our design horizons. Raffles has provided me with not only knowledge and values but also an abode of life in a new country that is Singapore. This in particular has given me an opportunity for exposure to the cultures and traditions of a different country.
