Awa odori, The Japanese Dance Festival
This collection draws inspiration from Awa Odori, the Japanese dance festival. The key element in the dance is the costume: the use of kimono and multiple layers of clothing. I have utilized different textures, combined with camouflage prints with design stitches that are synonymous with the Japanese costume.
