Chasing the Sun
I was inspired by China myths. My concept is the pursuit of the dream. The meaning is often depicted in some of the natural and social phenomena, such as ancestors conquering nature, and the change of social desire. I wish to express how to chase the dream, like Kuafu the spirit. A dream is like the sun, it’s dazzling, distant and difficult to obtain. Design can give people the feeling to persist, to hope, alongside the efforts of the spirit.

Tree rings record the life of a tree and its life history. My inspiration comes from the tree ring as it records life and symbolizes the time that we have spent throughout our lives. The concept which I would like to portray, is an illusion through the passage of time.
