3rd GRAND PRIX OF AKOYA PEARL JEWELLERY
IN ISHE SHIMA 2020

10 Raffles Jewellery Designers took part in “The Grand Prix of Akoya Pearl Jewellery 2020” and their creations were exhibited at the Japan Creative Centre (JCC) of Embassy of Japan in Singapore.

The theme this year is the concept of “Goddess.” Japan’s oldest and most sacred Shinto Shrine, Ise Jingu, also known as “the Soul of Japan,” is located on Ise Shima, where the Goddess Amaterasu Omikami has been enshrined and worshipped for more than 2000 years.

The winning designs were announced on 19 December 2020 via live streaming on Japan Creative Centre (JCC) Facebook.

By way of voting, Raffles Jewellery Designers Teresa Pavita Maharani and Sarah Sophia clinched the 1st and 2nd places respectively.

We are honoured to have received the awards and tokens of appreciation to all participating Raffles Designers from Counsellor Toru Furugori, Director of JCC.
