Design Excellence Awards (DEA) is an interior design competition organised by Interior Designers Confederation Singapore (IDCS). The DEA recognises the best of commercial, residential, hospitality, and public design in Singapore and Asia Pacific, endorsing, celebrating, and recognising the achievements of practitioners and students alike.
The Spatial Design Awards (SPADE) is one of the categories which was designed to reward and recognise interior design works by students. This award was opened to students enrolled in a Design Institution pursuing spatial design-related disciplines globally.
