BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTANCY (HONOURS)

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Accountancy (Hounours) programme is a full-time four year degree based on all the professional and legal requirements of this profession. Students will learn all the necessary skills to develop into competent accountants such as business operations, taxation, auditing and business environment. Before graduation, students will be able to participate in a professional attachment programme. Students who graduate from the RUI Bachelor of Accountancy programme will be eligible to receive 9 fundamental paper exemptions from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

Entry Requirements:
  • STPM: Grade C+(GPA 2.33) in 2 subjects; credit in Maths and English subjects at SPM level
  • A-Level: Grade C in 2 subjects; credit in Maths and English subjects in O-level or its equivalent.
  • UEC: 5 Bs; credit in Maths and English subjects at SPM/UEC level
  • Foundation/Matriculation: min. CGPA 2.50 (with a credit in Maths subject at SPM level
  • Diploma/Advance Diploma: min. CGPA 2.50 in related field
  • Others: Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government which will be considered on a case by case basis.
