SINGAPORE – Check out the 36 exceptional projects of our Fashion Marketers from Raffles Singapore, majoring in Coventry University’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) International Fashion Business programme, as part of their Future Fashion Project module, in collaboration with Connected Threads @ Singapore Sustainability Academy!
In preparation for this event, our Fashion Marketers immersed themselves in real life business experiences by writing business plans, developing prototypes, being aware of how to present them to the industry and carry out a crowd funding campaign, while understanding the needs, desires, and demands of the marketplace.
Here are our students at the Fashion Sustainability 101 Series: The Business of Sustainable Fashion, on 30th November. They were enlightened by the advice and interactive discussion by the panel speakers, consisting of Ms. Naomi JACOB, co-founder of Coopita Pte Ltd; Mr. Vincent OOI, founder of Homegrown brand Source Collection; Ms. Stephanie DICKSON, founder of Green Is The New Black, and Ms. Susannah JAFFER, founder of ZERRIN.
Our Raffles talents shared that they gained much insight on how to further pursue their passion for sustainable fashion and that nothing is impossible when one has a strong belief and perseverance to make a difference in society.
