BANGKOK – Fashion Designer Creation 2017 is an initiative to promote design as a means to create value and develop fashion brands, which include Textile and Clothing, Leather and Shoes, and Jewellery. The aim is to uncover the creative talents of fashion designers, entrepreneurs, and fashion design students, and enhance their creative ability and ready them for their fashion careers and business through the training and mentoring programme.

The themes for this year are: Surreal Jungle, Inter-national IKAT, and Inter-Twining Elements.

Here is Principal Mr Giuseppe (Joe) SPINELLI with Raffles’ industry partner, Ms Christy WONG, Fashion Director of Metro, in Bangkok for the judging of Fashion Designer Creation 2017, alongside the other judges.
