Indonesia – Raffles Product Designers visited production factories, PT. Bestone Rubber Indonesia and PT. Newera Rubberindo, in Surabaya, Indonesia, as part of their Manufacturing Technology module.

Students were given the opportunity to experiment and observe the manufacturing process from start to finish: raw materials, such as rubber, were processed into end products such as tyres and slippers. Through this hands-on process, students were also exposed to the quality control that is in place to create their products.
