SINGAPORE – On 4 July 2016, Raffles Singapore extended a warm welcome to its new cohort of students.

Close to 250 students from various countries such as China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia gathered enthusiastically to start a journey of discovery and creative education with Raffles Singapore.

The day started with a welcome briefing by College Director, Justin SEOW. Information such as learning environment and facilities at Raffles Education Square, general rules and regulations and the suite of student services was shared with the students. After the briefing by the College Director, students were invited to a presentation by AEGIS Insurance on the coverage under the Fees Protection Scheme (FPS) and Hospitalisation, Surgical and Personal Accident (HSPA) scheme. This was followed by a talk delivered by our Chaplain, Laurence LIM, who elaborated on the pastoral care services available at Raffles Singapore.

After a sumptuous lunch, the students attended the briefing conducted by their respective Programme Directors where they get to learn more about the learning outcomes of the programmes that they were enrolled in. These Raffles Designers, Marketers and Entrepreneurs took the opportunity to pose questions that they had about their field of study and to have a better understanding of what they can expect to achieve in their three years of studies at Raffles Singapore.

An exciting day of orientation then came to a close, signifying the start of a journey under the care of Raffles International Creative Practitioners. We wish all Raffles students an enriching education at Raffles Singapore.
